This Privacy Policy explains how Compound Future, an Android application published by Pelagic Dynamics, handles information when you use the app.

2. Information entered into the app

Compound Future allows users to enter financial planning information, including values such as starting capital, regular contributions, expected returns, costs, inflation assumptions, taxes, retirement expenses and other simulation parameters.

This information is processed locally on the user's device. Pelagic Dynamics does not receive, collect or store this information on its own servers.

3. Saved scenarios

Saved financial scenarios, simulation settings and related results are stored locally on the user's device.

Users can delete individual scenarios inside the app. All locally stored app data can also be removed by clearing the app's storage through the Android system settings or by uninstalling the app.

4. Google Play purchases

Compound Future offers an optional one-time purchase that unlocks Pro features. Purchases are processed through Google Play Billing.

Payment information, purchase processing and transaction management are handled by Google. Pelagic Dynamics does not receive or store complete payment card or bank account details.

Google may provide the app with limited purchase information, such as whether a valid entitlement exists, so that purchased Pro features can be activated and restored.

Google's handling of information is governed by the Google Privacy Policy .

5. Internet access

The app may use an internet connection to communicate with Google Play services, including retrieving product information, processing purchases and restoring previously purchased Pro access.

Financial scenarios and simulation inputs are not transmitted to Pelagic Dynamics through this process.

6. Analytics, advertising and tracking

Compound Future does not contain third-party advertising.

Compound Future does not use advertising identifiers, behavioural advertising, third-party analytics or user-tracking technologies.

7. Device backups

Depending on the user's Android device, operating-system settings and Google account configuration, Android may include locally stored app data in a device or cloud backup.

These backups are controlled by the device platform and the user's settings. Pelagic Dynamics does not directly access or control them.

8. Data sharing

Pelagic Dynamics does not sell personal information and does not share financial simulation inputs or saved scenarios with third parties.

Limited purchase-related information may be processed by Google as necessary to provide Google Play Billing and purchase restoration.

9. Data security

The app is designed so that financial planning information remains on the user's device. Users are responsible for protecting access to their device through appropriate security measures such as a screen lock, password or biometric authentication.

10. Children's privacy

Compound Future is not designed for or directed specifically at children. The app is intended as a financial planning and simulation tool for adult users.

11. User rights and requests

Because financial scenarios are stored locally and are not accessible to Pelagic Dynamics, Pelagic Dynamics generally cannot retrieve, modify or delete this locally stored information on behalf of the user.
